OVERVIEW

📍 Bangkok, Thailand
This was small product idea development project I lead during my summer internship as a product manager at KBTG.

Problem

1. Lack of Trust
Public trust in charities is in decline due to cases of scam, fraud and transparency.
2. Low Exposure
Many effective organizations lack resources to increase exposure to public and gain donor trust
3. Disproportionate Distribution of Funds
90% of raised fund mainly goes to the top 10% of the most well-known organizations.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

How can we help effective non-profits gain public awareness and trust, and receive the funds they deserve, in order to ensure donations are invested into helping improve society?

USER RESEARCH

After conducting research through interviews and articles, I discovered that there are many types of donors. I decided to focus on two and created a user persona in order to better empathize with the users. My team and I also interviewed 5 non-profit organizations in order to discover their pain points and needs. I summarized the findings into the user persona.

User Persona: Donors

User Persona: Non-Profit Organizations

THE product: a DIGITAL DONATION PLATFORM

  • To help non-profit organizations increase transparency, track donations and have a better reach.

  • Donors can browse through campaigns, donate through a seamless transaction experience and track their donations.

  • Platforms will also be available on digital donation box (to attract attention and increase exposure)
